Its challenging to say weather love or hate is more important in this story, but Love does play a very important role. Especially when the star crossed lovers meet for the first time. As soon as they meet Romeo is exstatic and shocked by Juliets beauty. As he said "Did my heart love til now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night!". Although he pretends to be in love with Rosaline, he becomes a candidate for falling in love at first sight. Juliet on the other hand is sure that she is in love, for example. "Go ask his name. If he be married, my grave is to be like my wedding bed".
Although Romeo an Juliet loved each other it took their deaths to make the families stop fighting and hating each other. No death is except able in a result of feuding and fighting especially the fact that they couldn"t stop the adults from hating each other. There was nothing they could have done to make the feuding go away, and they both died knowing that. They also died knowing that showing of there marriage would not please anyone. It would simply cause more drama, more feuding and more hatred. That's why this story is yet so tragic, their deaths thought there families that is wasn't worth it. The extremely sad part about it is that this is still going on throught the world.
In the end The Capulets and Montages made peace by their children's deaths. They also agreed to end all of the feuding. This play showed me that love can exist between many different heritages and cultures. It also shows me the strong and caring love of Romeo and Juliet.
